About Me

Holistic Trauma Therapist and Supervisor

Hi, I’m Yaritza Rodriguez, MSW, MHP, LICSW, LCSW, a holistic trauma therapist, clinical supervisor, and founder of Hanan Wellness. My work was born from both professional experience and personal understanding of what it means to survive, heal, and rebuild. As the daughter of immigrant parents and someone who grew up navigating trauma, instability, and responsibility at a young age, I understand how deeply our experiences shape the nervous system, relationships, and sense of self.

I hold a Bachelor’s of Arts in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work and maintain an independent clinical social work license in both Washington and Florida. I am also an approved licensure supervisor under Washington State, providing supervision, consultation, and mentorship to interns and clinicians working toward independent licensure.

For over 10 years, I have worked alongside immigrant and underserved communities in different capacities, and for the past 7 years, I have worked directly in the mental health field across multiple levels of care. My experience includes working in inpatient psychiatric settings, community mental health, crisis intervention, and serving as a Designated Crisis Responder (DCR) in Washington State. I have also served in leadership roles, including Clinical Director at a community healthcare agency, where I supervised clinicians and supported program development focused on trauma-informed care.

In addition, I have conducted immigration psychological evaluations for over 4 years, conducting interviews for individuals and families navigating immigration cases with clinical expertise.

I created Hanan Wellness to be more than a therapy practice. It is a space rooted in healing, community, movement, and connection. My approach integrates evidence-based trauma therapies such as EMDR, somatic work, mindfulness, CPT, and breathwork while honoring the importance of culture, identity, and the mind-body connection. I believe healing is not one-size-fits-all, and therapy should feel human, compassionate, empowering, and collaborative.

Beyond individual therapy, I am passionate about creating accessible wellness experiences for underserved communities, especially for Spanish-speaking and immigrant families. Through community workshops, wellness events, movement spaces, my goal is to help others reconnect with themselves safely and authentically.

At Hanan Wellness, healing is not about perfection. It is about learning to come home to yourself, one step, one breath, and one moment at a time.
